New possibilities for collective security arrangements in Curacao
Lenders participating in a syndicated loan facility should be able to transfer (part of) their participation to other lenders during the term of the facility. For efficiency purposes, an agent is usually appointed to represent the lenders and hold security rights for the benefit of all the lenders. Common law jurisdictions have the trust figure, pursuant to which security rights can be easily managed on behalf of all the lenders.

Voetbaloorlog: de tweede helft
Eind vorig jaar hebben we onze column met veel plezier gewijd aan de strijd tussen (onder meer) Johan Cruijff en de overige leden van de Raad van Commissarissen van Ajax. Het vonnis in kort geding was juridisch gezien interessant, maar laten we eerlijk zijn, tijdens de lunch hier op kantoor werd het hele circus rondom de smeuïge machtsstrijd niet onbesproken gelaten.
